How Day Zero Labs collects, uses and protects personal data on dayzerolabs.in. Effective 7 November 2026.
Who we are
Day Zero Labs runs dayzerolabs.in. For anything about this policy or your data, write to reachout-us@dayzerolabs.in.
What we collect, and why
- Consulting enquiries: your name, email address, organisation (optional), the topic you choose and your message. We use them to reply and to discuss the work you ask about.
- Course sign-ups (Notify me): your email address, and optionally your name and the topics you tick. We use them only to tell you when a course opens.
- Emails you send us: your address and what you write, so we can reply.
- Comments on articles: comments use giscus and are stored as GitHub Discussions in our public repository dayzerolabs-in/discussions. To comment you sign in with GitHub; your GitHub username, profile picture and comment are then public on GitHub.
- Server logs: when you visit, our hosting provider records your IP address, browser and the pages you request, to keep the site running and secure.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent personal data.
- We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies.
- We do not send you marketing beyond what you signed up for.
Cookies
Browsing this site sets no cookies. WordPress sets cookies only if you log in to the site’s admin area. If you sign in to giscus to comment, giscus keeps a sign-in token in your browser’s local storage until you sign out.
Who else handles your data
- Hostinger hosts our website and our email, so form submissions, emails and server logs are stored on Hostinger’s servers.
- The comment box under each article loads from giscus.app, so your browser’s request shares your IP address with giscus. Comments themselves are held by GitHub under GitHub’s privacy statement.
- Our fonts and spam protection run on our own site, so they share nothing with other services.
- We may disclose personal data if the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and emails: for as long as we need them to reply and to carry out any work that follows; then we delete them.
- Course sign-ups: until you ask us to remove you, or until we stop offering courses.
- Comments: in GitHub Discussions until you delete them on GitHub, or we remove them.
- Server logs: for as long as Hostinger keeps them under its own policy.
Your rights
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can:
- ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- ask us to correct, complete, update or erase it;
- withdraw your consent at any time, for example to stop course emails;
- nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to;
- raise a grievance with us and, if we do not resolve it, complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
To do any of these, write to reachout-us@dayzerolabs.in.
Consent
When you send a form or a comment, you agree to our using your details as this policy describes. Withdrawing consent later does not affect what we did before you withdrew it.
Children
This site is not intended for anyone under 18. If you are under 18, please do not send us personal data without a parent’s or guardian’s consent.
Changes to this policy
If our practices change, we will update this page and the effective date at the top.
